Nobody taught you how to actually speak. But a kindergarten teacher cracked the code on how to explain anything to anyone.
And it’s the same framework I use in every pitch deck, keynote, and presentation:
I’ve realised that a good number of you are not looking for lovers, you have a script in your head and you’re looking for an actor to come and play that role!
I think it’s absolutely preposterous how easily some women exaggerate and escalate situations without stopping to consider the consequences.
They say women think with their emotions rather than reason, and moments like these are exactly why that stereotype persists. In the heat of the moment, everything feels justified. But a few hours later, when the emotions have settled, you often realize that much of what was said or done was unnecessary.
The problem is that while emotions are temporary, the consequences of those reckless words and actions often aren’t. Some damage can’t simply be taken back.
It’s sickening, to say the very least.
When the DG of the NLS was giving her speech and referenced or acknowledged her husband did you see that smirk or smile on her cheeks?
When the now, 33rd President elect of the NBA won the election, did you see that hug of warmth and kiss she shared with her husband?
Now where am I driving to?
2 things:
1. Marriage is such a beautiful thing when two people with brains in their heads decide to do it.
2. These women said they want to fly and their husbands said “how high?”
Do with this message what you would.
