Day 9 - the final day! Only 55 miles today to St Athan. What a journey it has been across the country and today will be the last one.
Gloomy start to the morning and potential for thunder storms later however I have gave our riders some key advice... pedal faster π²π
Day 8 complete. 80.19 miles from NPAS Exeter to NPAS Almondsbury.
A tough start today. Tired and dripping with fog until the sun arrived after 4 hrs.
Then we managed a good pace despite the heavy legs and heat. Things hurt we didnβt know could hurt but with the end is in sight.
Day 8 - Only 78 miles today, after a very tough day yesterday for our riders, apparently it was up and down the whole way π€₯
Big push now as we approach the final day tomorrow we can't thank you enough for your support but we haven't finished yet please keep sharing!
Day 7 of Base2Base. 88.19 miles.
NPAS Bournemouth to NPAS Exeter. By far the hardest day yet with intense heat and the steepest climbs yet, one after another after another.
Gruelling but we still have the cause at the forefront of our minds and the target in sight.
