@LakaHQ@Seedrs I like you guys and have pre registered my interest on the raise... However, I do think your statement is misleading. Would love to see how you would substantiate it? What insurance companies do you think operate this way? Isn't your insurer Zurich? Are they one of them?
@Rahul_J_Mathur I agree... why should someone be punished because they used their policy for a legitimate purpose for which it was purchased and intended in the first place! Instead, insurers should become better at determining which risks they want to cover to weed out so called 'bad risks'.

@EmporiumHQ Would love to know why our monthly pet insurance premium has increased from Β£50 to over Β£134pm. 5 years and no claims so why? This is why consumers have soo much distrust of insurance companies. So will be cancelling our policy immediately. #insurance#renewal#trust
@Rahul_J_Mathur Yeah... completely agree... it's very difficult to compare cover across providers as wordings are different. Customers predominantly select based on price not realising the level of cover is likely to be very different and then when it comes to claims they complain.
@JamesJWYork Storm in a teacup comes to mind as well as mountain out of a mole hill! Its completely ridiculous... with everything going on in the world at the moment and this is one of the main stories the press want to focus on... completely ridiculous!
@alan_hickman Completely agree. A story out of nothing and complete waste of time. I'd rather hear how the 'R' rate is performing, infections, deaths, news on vaccines and treatments etc... not how one guy took his wife and 4 year old child to stay closer to family in case they were both ill!

@alan_hickman Yeah, but in reality the insurers carry the exposure and not us. We only sell and distribute the product on a non advised basis and dont have anything to do with the claims aspect. Managed to get a quote for Β£2300... so Β£8000 was just ridiculous!
OMG... just had my PII renewal through... last year premium was Β£1,800... renewal quote for exact same level of cover with with same provider and nothing changed etc... Β£8000!!!!!! Anyone else experienced the same with their PII cover? Any recommendations on where to look? #PII
@nigelwalsh You also have those who win and lose at the same time! We sold more policies in 18 days of March than we did in whole of 2019 but the flip side is increased risk and significant operational impacts... it's caused huge business disruption!

So we have been working as fast as possible to try and respond as quickly as we can. But the sheer volume has made this very difficult. So I do apologise but this is an unprecedented situation.
