If the #49ers somehow fall short of their ultimate goal of winning the Super Bowl, I’d pursue Bill Belichick as the DC and see if he could bring Josh Uche or Kyle Dugger with him in FA. It sounds crazy, but Bill’s downfall is that he’s a marginal GM and a poor CEO. He’s an elite DC and maybe the best all time evaluator and coordinator of DB talent. Bring him in and let him be the head coach of the defense, coach up the #49ers’ young DBs and find 1 or 2 more in the ‘24 draft. I think he’d go for that. That would be a great pivot. Kyle and Bill would win multiple rings together.
