a highly competitive selection process, we are excited to officially announce the 46 applicants who have made it into CBSPAS (Capacity Building Support Programme for the Animation Sector) Cohort 2.
With over 400 applications received, these participants stood out and have now embarked on their two-week orientation programme. This phase is designed to expose them to the business side of animation, equipping them with essential industry knowledge beyond technical skills.
We are thrilled to share that Basement Animation has been featured in Ethiopian Airlines’ inflight magazine, Selamta, alongside some of the most inspiring animation studios in Africa, including Kugali Media, Triggerfish Animation, Sunrise Animation Studios, and Anthill Studios.
At Basement Animation, we are dedicated to creating culturally relevant stories with social consciousness at their core. We believe in showcasing Africa’s rich heritage through powerful storytelling that inspire positive change.
