@Machinedelusion Seems you are new to open source, only a fraction of companies contribute back to it in different ways. That is kinda the way since open source came to be
@noctarius2k I miss the older models, where you could go full YOLO mode and end up with tons of lines of code that didn’t work. It just felt more human, like it pretended to work and then failed during the review with stakeholders 🤣
@noctarius2k I think at this point he and other AI CEOs should also take some AI money and have every word he says double-checked by a PR agency, which can then approve it or not
So I am working on a Godot gdscript and shader code linter/formatter which is also project-aware and uses some tricks under the hood. So far it really looks promising
@noctarius2k Ah yeah, now I understand it. For that, I mostly use a "file structure" markdown so it knows where to put what 😄 They still need a bit of guardrails, sadly. What also helps is giving examples of what to do and what not to do.
@noctarius2k I can’t quite grasp the “why did you put it there? That doesn’t make sense.” On what level does that happen, at the code level or architecturally? Does it add things I didn’t ask for, like extra checks or logic or features?
I just want to understand it better.
