@Necessary_Cho This is the kind of story Waziri has been fed with since 2007, and it’s the same narrative that keeps leading to his losses at the general elections. Sometimes one need to let go of their historical ego to achieve their dream.
The Northeast never experiences traffic or dreadlocks. We don’t get many people and cars and we’re not a corridor to anywhere.
You can drive from Gembu to Tilde Fulani without encountering traffic of ten cars. Unlike Su @_ZainabDabo, Abuja to Kaduna will take her ten hours 😂😂
@DrJoeAbah@egi_nupe If you refuses to hold the board, you will be persuaded in ways you never imagined in fact you will be the one that will go and hold it up. 😂
Those who knew Al-Minuki in his early years, during the rise of Mohammed Yusuf, the founder of Boko Haram, told @HumAngle_ that he was a young man who ran a small barbing salon in Mainok village, about 58 kilometres west of Maiduguri in northeastern Nigeria. Long before his name became associated with violence and insurgency, he was known simply as a village barber. https://t.co/dnwDXKOUAi
No one raises in the financial sector without a sponsor. Not even one person I know of in my over a decade in this field. Hard work, if you are lucky, will give you a sponsor, or else you are cooked.
Absolutely. If you have a sponsor- someone who speaks for you in rooms full with opportunities- you’ll go very far.
Almost all top hires are made that way.

O ALLAH, grant good health to my body,
O ALLAH, grant good health to my hearing,
O ALLAH, grant good health to my sight. There is no God except You.
@Niinameelah@FotoNugget Foto Man said people are not allowed to dig a well or use Fertiliser.
“Alhaji Garba Kondo waddi Taki”adverts has been running on TSBS since 1980s 😂😂😂
Why this rubbish? You can advertise the Mambila Plateau without peddling lies.
1. No farmer is prohibited from using Fertiliser in fact Selling Fertiliser is a popular businesses
2. There are hundreds of wells and boreholes. Except Kakara no town enjoys 24/7 Water supply.
Six (6) realities that shocked me in Gembu, Mambilla.
1. Farmers are strictly prohibited from using fertilizers.
2.Digging wells is prohibited.
3.Herders do not move around with grazing their cows, ranching is the only practiced method of rearing cows.
4. Many of the Mambilla people I met mostly communicate in Fulfulde or English.
5. One of the most widely studied courses by Mambilla people is Veterinary Medicine.
6.There are indigenous Igbo people who have lived there since the creation of Nigeria in 1914 and still lives there till date living peacefully with the Fulanis.
@SirJarus@yussynuhu I think being appointed CBN governor has nothing to do with background studies these days. Plus, the CBN is designed to survive even if a Medical Dr were to be appointed Gov. The current CBN gov studied managerial and administrative studies, and he is doing well.
@Lujain_Moha Now that you narrowed it to Yola whenever anyone from Gembu speaks, an Adamawa Pullo will instantly know you are from Gembu, because of the influence of the Mambila accent
Written correspondence from the Lamido Palace is done in Hausa not Fulfulde.Making Hausa the official Lang.
Fulani that have lost everything in their culture? From their language to dressing to everything else, the Fulani assimilate wherever they are, from Ilorin to Maiduguri from Kebbi to Gembu, from the cities to the bushes we are gone.
@Lujain_Moha There are Fulani in Borno and have always been. The Fulani in Ilorin are only genetically Fulani.Yola still maintains its culture with deep Hausa influence; hence, it’s the language of communication in the Lamido Palace.
I am from Gembu, and yes, our culture is influenced too.
