@IslandGoSAMe I wasn’t there, but imagining Mike Long meandering around a tournament hall, playing under an alias, being told to fuck off by someone half his age, texting someone even younger to complain and being told to fuck off again, etc., feels like watching someone being tortured in Hell
@CedricAPhillips “Harden and Cavs can’t come to an agreement, Harden takes PO and then flies to China and calls Koby Altman a liar in front of an assembly of children, ends up getting traded for Ja Morant before the season starts” absolutely in play.
@BigDerf Look I don’t know who can say what, just that Harbaugh clearly had something he wanted to say once he perceived himself to be in a more hospitable climate for it. All this “Carter broke protocol” shit is unbelievably stupid.
The locker room is a sacred place because it brings together everyone from all walks of life and beliefs for one common goal.
Calling a teammate out publicly for his political views and to get attention is nasty work.
@fivewithflores@Mengu09 My limited experience with recent Modern is that Boltwave is untouchable, if you wanted Helix you’d have to cut another 2 mana card.
I think this is worth remembering because a lot of the conversation is going to be speculation on how “necessary” MTGA RTO is, but that’s at best a small factor about what’s really underpinning the kind of hostility WotC is presenting to the union.
I’d make a slight modification to this—it isn’t “needless”, it is “a claw back of benefits for its own sake”, that everything management can strip away is something that can be put back on the table as leverage at a future date, used to discipline unruly employees, etc.
The RTO push is a needless effort from out of touch executives that would force people to uproot their lives and put undo harm on our coworkers and friends.
