God,
We thank you
For the love you give
For the blessings we have
For the unknown graces given
For the sufferings so mysterious
For the people you have sent us
For the steadfast care you offer
For the protection hidden
For sins forgiven
For every gift
Happy Thanksgiving 🍁
Pope Francis has invited everyone to participate in a Day of Prayer and Fasting for Peace in Ukraine on Ash Wednesday, in order to be near to the suffering Ukrainian people, to be aware that we are all brothers and sisters, and to implore God for an end to the war.
Saint John Bosco, father and teacher of the young, did not shut himself up in the sacristy. He went out into the streets to look for young people, with the creativity that was his hallmark.
St. John Bosco's primary mission was going out into the streets and encountering youth, seeking out work for those who needed it, shelter for others, and even encouraging young men in pursuit of the priesthood. St. John Bosco, pray for us and especially for our young men.
