@erinotoole @_kruptos I'm surprised someone so high up in our political system is so uneducated. Discussion of class is not purely marxist, the managerial class is not exclusively public sector. Criticism of the intelligentsia first arose as a criticism of Marxists. I'm stupid and I know this.

@donalfellows @memeticsisyphus Modern mass migration is a tool states use to manage their economies; their debt, pension funds, tax collection, etc. Whatever Hollywood style story is being told by people to others or to themselves, is simply rationalizing a global economic force which is beyond their control.

Simultaneously, the relative wealth of the western working class declined, as they stopped participating directly in their own consumption.
