We’ve finalised the Basilisk logo at last! Here it is. We’re well under way with our launch model, hopefully there will be something substantial to share in the next month or two.

We’re finishing the specification document for our debut model today. It’s probably fair to say it’s pretty detailed! Dial layout is taking a while to get perfect though.

Been wearing the Nanok at lot recently, mostly on one of our new leather straps but also on a white silicone strap that was suggested to me by a customer. What do you think? I really like it!

As a result of that connection, unlike most new brands we have a heavily optimised supply chain, established fulfilment centres, and reliable service partners around the world. Basilisk is a new brand in name, but in practice it's the culmination of years of growth and learning.

A bit of history: Yes, Basilisk is a new company but it's from an established team. Co-founder Ross Davis has run @Hamtun since 2015 and shipped thousands of automatic watches. Basilisk exists to make the models that were too expensive for that brand.

Today we signed off on the Basilisk logo and completed the spec for our first model. Hopefully we’ll have renders you share within the next month and prototypes around Christmas time. Here’s the logo! #watches
