Yesterday evening I was craving roasted cat fish
And so I sent my younger brother to go get some
As he brought it back and handed it to me, immediately i unwrapped the foil, i knew something was seriously awry
One thing about my nose, it works WELL.
I knew the fish was bad instantly. I’m not talking about “starting to want to go off” type of bad
I’m talking rotten fish with maggots in the head part type of bad.
When I checked the pepper sauce she packed too , that was also sour.
This fish was expensive. I got dressed and went with my brother back to the vendor.
As we got there and she sighted us, guilt was spelt across her face. I knew she knew. There was no way this woman did not know her fish and sauce were bad
To cut the long story short, the woman refused to give us a refund. Flat out refused
Said she didn’t know and that we should pick another one from her table. I told her I didn’t want any of her fish. I just wanted my money. She refused
I left it there and was going to walk away. But then I turned back, picked it up and threw it in the trash right in front of her
Because I knew she was going to heat it up and sell it to someone else.
I hate it break it to you, Nigeria is not working not because of our president
It is not working because of us
A lot of Nigerians are selfish. I patronized this woman, spent extra transportation and journeyed for over an hour and she could not bear the loss of something horrible she sold to me
Nigeria is bad because many Nigerians are bad
We care only about ourselves.
From the secretary that will rather give the spot to see “Oga” to the person who came hours after you that has been standing on the queue because they gave her “tiri fife” to the president we all stare at and point accusing fingers at
That’s why their kids will go to schools abroad when other people’s children are kidnapped and sleep in the bush for days and the country moves on like nothing is happening
Nobody cares
The rest of the world can burn as long as they are fine
So they keep stealing so they can throw society wedding for their daughter with the money that was supposed to build a hospital that would save millions
Politicians did not enter that office and become suddenly bad. They have always been bad. The office makes it more glaring
Nigeria will not work even if we elect a saint
It will only work if the woman selling fish down the road grows a conscience and does the right thing
It is well
“Why are we talking to tinubu? Why we dey do video? Why is everybody online? WHAT IS ALL THESE NONSENSE?
Everybody stop work! Be it bank worker, civil servant etc…the only people working should be essential services like hospitals…
Let’s show for once in Nigeria, A UNIFIED FRONT!…”

This is one of the reasons why you guys hated Amorim, you want instant success so anything that has to do with building a team or process is never appreciated.
Ineos and Wilcox are such losers, building a window for perennial top 4 rather than title-challenging.
United fans will hype it up tho because everything needs to be a "project" and squad building with slop.
This guy has resumed this morning again in Abuja with the Banner “shame on us, our children is still in capt!vity and we still go to work”
This is commendable✊🏽 🪧
Kills me how United fans are coping by saying Elliot Anderson is never worth £120m. Every single team in the world would take him, so the demand is there. He's still got 3 years left on his contract, and Forest have stayed in the prem. They have every right to demand that amount
We are already losing the plot, don’t stop sharing their images. This wicked government must rescue these children and teachers by force ‼️
#BringBackOurChildren
“Us£less irresp0ns!ble unaccountable government, let our mates go, we deserve to live, we’re not Guinea pigs, don’t treat us like one, we’re the future of these country and we have the right to live”
Private school students cr!es out as they joined the protest today 🪧 ✊🏽
Bro Nasboi,
From one Nigerian to another, I just want to say thank you. For months now, I’ve been seeing your tweets and videos, your raw honesty about the pain of the poor masses, the insecurity tearing us apart, and how the government has failed everyday people like us. In a time when so many keep quiet or chase clout, you keep showing up and speaking truth, even when it’s not easy.
You’re reminding us that we’re not alone in this struggle, and that our voices still matter. Your courage is giving hope to a lot of us who feel unseen and unheard. Keep fighting the good fight, brother. The masses see you, and God sees you too. Nigeria needs more people with a heart like yours.
We’re rooting for you. Stay strong, stay blessed. ❤️🙏
