Books like Gender Queer, Fun Home, and Beyond Magenta are in our middle school and high school libraries. They are also available online, in bookstores, and throughout the RI Public Library system. We don’t advocate for the banning of any book. We just want these and others removed from taxpayer-funded school libraries. How can a book be banned when it is available to anyone at the places I mentioned above? The answer is: It cannot be. Far left supporters of porn, obscenity, and pedophilia, like the ALA, NYT, NEA, AFT, and mainstream media use the term “book banner” to galvanize support through lies.
