🚨 The People Behind the Curtain: Inside Peter Thiel's Secretive Dialog Network
This is one of the most thorough, articulate, and unsettling explanations I've seen on Peter Thiel's secretive Dialog network, presented by an exceptionally talented woman who manages to connect dots that most people never even notice.
Her argument is simple:
Dialog isn't some cartoon-villain conspiracy.
It's something far more disturbing.
It's the gradual privatization of power itself.
According to her analysis, these aren't outsiders plotting against governments—they are government officials, billionaires, intelligence-connected figures, military leaders, media executives, academics, and Silicon Valley elites operating within the same private circles.
The people supposedly responsible for holding power accountable are often sitting in the same rooms as the people exercising it.
The watchdogs.
The financiers.
The politicians.
The tech executives.
The media figures.
All sharing the same private networks.
All having the same off-the-record conversations.
All discussing the future behind closed doors.
Dialog openly describes itself as a gathering of people who want to "change the world."
The question is:
Who elected them?
Who authorized them?
And why are so many of these conversations taking place away from public scrutiny?
What makes this particularly unsettling is that many of the names appearing in these networks seem to reappear again and again across politics, finance, technology, defense, surveillance, artificial intelligence, academia, and global policy organizations.
Different institutions.
The same people.
Different titles.
The same networks.
Different countries.
The same circles of influence.
The most chilling possibility isn't that there's a secret cabal controlling everything.
It's that a relatively small class of interconnected elites genuinely believes they should be the ones deciding the future for everyone else.
Not through public debate.
Not through democratic accountability.
But through private meetings, elite forums, invitation-only retreats, and relationships invisible to the public.
The scary part isn't what we know.
It's how much happens beyond public view.
Because power is always most dangerous when it no longer feels obligated to explain itself.
And if the people shaping tomorrow are meeting in private while the public is distracted, then perhaps the real question isn't what's being discussed behind those doors
It's what decisions have already been made.

Gardaí are investigating a series of serious accusations contained in a ‘highly complex’ protected disclosure filed with Skillnet in December 2023.
The man at the centre of the accusations refused to co-operate with an independent investigation into the claims against him, prompting a full review of contracts. #Skillnet

The Ditch can reveal that the Powerscourt Hotel first hosted Peter Thiel and Auren Hoffman’s secretive Dialog event in 2018.
The hotel came under pressure from the opposition after The Ditch reported yesterday that it will host the event this August.

A UK student's reaction is going viral after Prime Minister Keir Starmer said Britain will ban children younger than 16 from using social media.
During a BBC interview, the student revealed her screen time was nine hours over the weekend. When asked how she'd fill all that extra time without social media, she didn't hesitate: "Stare at a wall."
The deadpan response is quickly becoming one of the most shared reactions to the UK's sweeping new restrictions on children's social media use.
The HSE, Children’s Health Ireland, the state: all have refused or failed to publish the report. Here it is.
An internal audit exposing how child patients on public lists are forced to wait for vital surgery – those with private health insurance don't.

MEPs across Europe are pushing for action on the Aughinish alumina exports, but Irish MEPs still haven’t signed onto a sanctions push.
I asked Irish MEP Cynthia Ní Mhurchú why.
