Our #ChurchOfTheWeek is Selworthy All Saints Church, in @ExmoorNP, Somerset. It is a medieval building and features this unusual balcony that was built in the early 19th century to act as a family pew and status symbol for the local landowners at the time, the Acland family.
This simple Norman church, St Mary's in Kempley, Gloucestershire, contains some of England's best-preserved medieval wall paintings.
Those in the chancel are particularly rare, from the early 12th century, and are the most complete set of Romanesque frescos in northern Europe.
At the east end of the north aisle in Mells St Andrew church, Somerset is this beautiful stained glass window. It features Madonna and Child and St Francis of Assisi. It was made by Sir Charles Nicholson in 1930. #StainedGlassSunday

Another day, another cathedral heading for #NetZero. By finding ways to sensitively introduce #renewableenergy in our most precious #heritage buildings, the Church is doing us all a service: making solar panels as straightforward and normal as radiators...
