"ThE vIlLaIn Is ThE eNtItY tHaT kIlLeD pEoPlE!!!" is such a lame boring loser take that i hate seeing it and im glad Obsession makes it obvious that Bear is the villain even if morons try to double down on Nikki killing people makes her the "villain"
I genuinely believe that The Tortured Poets Department being a 'bad album' was a psyop. That album is on the same level as, if not better than, Folklore and Evermore.
That final scene in Obsession basically proves Nikki was the villain.
If you actually look at what’s happening, those black lines on her shoulder and the CRT TV looping Bear's face just show she’s trapped in a massive mental paradox. His wish literally broke her brain and forced her into a recursive loop she couldn't control. She's essentially a glitching system trying to process a forced reality that shouldn't exist.
Bear standing on the right side of the frame looking terrified isn’t him being a victim, it’s just pure cowardice. He’s not actually scared of a monster; he’s just panicking because he realized his own selfishness completely ruined a person. He brought a broken entity into the world and then abandoned her emotionally the second it got messy. He's the true casualty of the movie, not her
Unpopular opinion, but Buffalo Bill is actually the tragic hero of Silence Of The Lambs. If you analyze his actions, he was completely right to ask her to "put the lotion on its skin" because how else was he gonna cut her skin off to make his flesh suit? He’s the real victim here
