it's so weird to me that Alan Wake 1 has such divisive opinions on it.

to me it has a tight gameplay loop that feels satisfying but the way some people talk shit about it, it feels like we're playing completely different games. is it a skill issue?

@Sarrvatore Nah it's pretty good but it's insane glazing here. The gore and enemy ai carries the combat loop. The campaign has so few enemies between looting and chatting with other NPCs. I have my issues with the story and characters but I like it overall but the pacing

Alan Wake 1's combat is so fun and unique that I was really disappointed when Alan Wake 2 just did RE2R style gameplay
