THE STUDENTS ARE NOT GOING TO DISAPPEAR — THEY ARE DEMANDING TO BE HEARD

The message in this video is blunt: you can deploy force, barricades and security personnel—but you cannot silence a generation demanding accountability.

The speaker alleges that authorities are preparing to use central armed forces around Delhi and says, in effect, that students will not be intimidated into abandoning their protest.

There is independently documented context for the concern about heavy security deployment. During the major CJP-led student protests in Delhi in July 2026, the Union Home Ministry authorised additional Central Armed Police Forces, including CRPF, RAF, BSF, ITBP and SSB personnel, for deployment in the capital.

Reports also documented clashes at Jantar Mantar in which police and paramilitary forces used tear gas and lathicharge, with protesters reporting injuries.

That history makes the central democratic question unavoidable:

When young citizens raise questions about examinations, paper leaks, accountability and their future, is the State's first response dialogue—or increasingly overwhelming them with force?

A democracy does not become stronger because dissent becomes quieter.

A student demanding a fair examination is not an enemy of the State.
A young person demanding accountability is not a security threat merely because the demand is inconvenient.

You can disperse a crowd.
You cannot disperse a question.

And if an entire generation keeps asking the same question, the answer cannot permanently be more barricades, more force and more silence.

Let the students speak.
Let the evidence be examined.
Let those responsible answer.

Look closely.

Helmet. Shield. Protective gear. Equipment to control a crowd.

But apparently no visible nameplate.

In the video, a protester repeatedly asks the officers why their identities are not visibly displayed.

This is not a trivial question.

The same concern surfaced during the July 2026 Jantar Mantar crackdown, when Delhi Police and RAF personnel were reported to be in plain clothes or without visible name badges. The Indian Express subsequently reported directions that personnel deployed at Jantar Mantar should report in uniform.

The Supreme Court's D.K. Basu safeguards also recognise the importance of clear police identification during arrest and interrogation, while a Supreme Court-linked inquiry into the Jantar Mantar police action is examining the need for visible identification during arrests and crowd control.

So ask the uncomfortable but verifiable questions:

Who were these officers?
Which unit were they from?
Who ordered their deployment?
Why were visible nameplates absent?
Were body cameras operating?
Where is the CCTV footage?
Who authorised the use of force?
And who will be accountable if misconduct is established?

Calling them a “private army” without evidence would weaken the case.

Demanding identifiable officers and transparent accountability strengthens it.

A democracy does not require protesters to trust an unidentified force.

The state exercises power through identifiable public officials—not anonymous men behind shields.
