These are recent pics of the beloved Sugar Cane Express being cut up for scrap at the LK&P shops.

The tracks have been severed. Both steam engines scrapped along with most of the equipment except for a lone switcher and two passenger cars. 😀

The ending to the film is just so wholesome a railway lines people come together to help aide and save their line and pass the test through trials. With a Chorus of whistle’s large and small from the fellow railwayman. So wholesome. The Titfield Thunderbolt is 10/10 ❤️ #Steam
