Since 1943, CBIA has been advocating for home builders throughout the state. These 75 years have been full of milestones & accomplishments, so the time has come to celebrate! Keep an eye out for more celebratory content as we enjoy this momentous year. #BuiltForThis#CBIAStrong
“If you’re not at the table, you’re on the menu.” - Harry C. Elliott III, Elliott Homes, CBIA Member. CBIA takes that seat at the table for our members, bringing strength in numbers to create a difference with government advocacy. #CBIA75#BuiltForThis#75YearsStrong#CBIAStrong
CBIA member and Board Chair Michael Battaglia values his access to local BIAs, the CBIA entities going to bat for homebuilding in your local community. #CBIA75#CBIABuiltForThis
19 years 11 months at Standard Pacific/CalAtlantic/Lennar are officially over. One can only hope to have such a wonderful career surrounded by phenomenal people. So it is not goodbye but rather see you next time. THANK YOU AND LOVE YOU!
1 week off, the next chapter begins on 4/16
NIMBYs in @LaHabraCA have organized to save a golf course over housing. Check out the poster! Not sure which reason is better "overcrowded schools" (we have declining enrollment!), "overcrowded stores" (is there such a thing?) or "keeping inner city problems out of our suburbs"
Time for meaningful discussion on the facts about the impediments to bring housing to Californians. Let's fix the broken system. Legislators, council members and commissioners, we can make this happen. #yestohousing https://t.co/AnpRAYHkp6
To restore the California Dream, our state must fix California’s broken housing system that increases costs of building new homes, allows CEQA shakedowns and other abuses that block increased supply.

Yesterday I spoke on a panel to @CaliforniaBIA.
California has a housing supply crisis & our builders need help in order to provide affordable housing to all Californians. #CantAffordCA
@lucettadunn@GavinNewsom@GOP@SpeakerRyan Agree with Lucy Dunn and the constituents that can't afford a roof over their head in California. Time for meaningful change to the policy and politics of housing.
To save the California Dream for all, it’s imperative that policymakers put an end to abusive laws blocking new housing or that makes housing more expensive.
San Jose @Mercnews - The California Dream is tough to afford if you’re under 40 https://t.co/bwLhBKNqlw
Now 3 leading Dem governor candidates have endorsed a ridiculous amount of homebuilding. @GavinNewsom and @antonio4ca (announced today) say they want 3.5m new homes by 2025; @JohnChiangCA says 4m new homes by 2028. We’d need to QUADRUPLE annual production to meet the goals.
