For the life of me, I could not find my drill or its charger. I said to myself βWhy donβt I use one of these drawers for them?β β¦ seems I forgot I already had π
@wangianer Seems to use XTAL.SYS "1987WPC/APC Translator/I.S Emulation - v.4.50 " - seems to sit in the first cluster after the root directory.
I'm just wanting to archive any Wang specific software I can find - from anywhere, before it gets lost, I'll check to see if the 123 is Wang.
The archive was a success! It turns out the Wang Professional uses 256 byte sectors and the Wang 2275 ecoding method apparently. Anyone have a Wang Pro emulator I can throw it at?
@wangianer I got the data in the end :) I wrote a program in C to read the Wang partitions and mounted file systems in Linux but nothing exciting found, just IBM PC software :(
@AliceAutomata Whatβs tripping me out is I have that exact case next to me lol my initial reaction was Quake but the 40 would be a bit slow for that :/
@wangianer You wouldnβt happen to know where I could find Wang specific software by chance? This was full of IBM PC software like WP and Lotus 123 :/
@wangianer I have 3, but monitor and keyboard in storage and power supplies need work :) I will get it sorted eventually haha just wanted to be sure I didnβt lose data off this one.
Looks like someone tried to run DIGGER, realised it didn't work and deleted it - PC archelogy is fun sometimes. I'm assuming the other program is "DUCK .COM" and not something else
