University of Calabria in Italy offers a certain number of scholarship for international students yearly.

The scholarship involves your tuition being waived with a little stipend.

Many Nigerians have used this scholarships to move to Italy, do their masters before pursuing a PhD in the US, Canada, Germany or other countries of choice.

The courses are limited.

Most winners are first class graduates.

Gomez Adetutu Loren and Chiamaka Happiness Modestus have both emerged as the Joint Female Best Graduating Student at the Nigerian Law School for the 2026 Call to Bar.

Both achievers attained this exceptional milestone through their unwavering discipline, personal sacrifice, and commitment to maintaining high standards.

Gomez is a graduate of the University of Lagos who studied at the Abuja campus. Modestus graduated from Igbinedion University, Okada, and completed her studies at the Port Harcourt campus.

Good to see Israel Adeniyi, a young man from Offa, emerge Overall Best Graduating Student in Nigeria Law School 2026.

He finished from Offa Grammar School, our alma mater, as BGS in 2018, entering the school's Roll Call of Academic Honour that started in 1956.

Went on to bag First Class in Unilorin and now BGS in Law School.

Happy to see that a public school as ours still produces such national scholars.

They want to start sponsoring all of them to the international finals now.

They have started contacting schools already.

This was abandoned in 2019.

I hope they don’t politicize it.

Our children need to shine on global stages.

Nigerians won 27 out of the 132 masters degree scholarships on offer at the University of Calabria, Italy.

All of them were first class graduates.

Even if a woman is 40 and has never been married, she has every right to her own preferences. She alone will live with the consequences of her choices and decisions, not anyone else.

So, regardless of her age, attacking or ridiculing a woman simply because she says she does not want to marry a man who is already married is unfair and beneath responsible conduct. Mature and responsible men should respect her right to choose, even if they disagree with her preference.
