People often ask how come you aren’t more aggressive with people?
Many years ago in Berkeley I was attacked by several transients on Telegraph, after being given bad information by a business owner. (I was told the people camped outside Ameba records were friendly and wouldn’t mind being interviewed on camera). In the attack they broke my camera and I suffered some minor injuries. Subsequently they were arrested. In court the station never sent a lawyer I was on my own. The defense lawyers turned everything around and made me out to be the aggressor. In fact the lawyers implied I like to provoke people and start fights to get clicks. I became the bad guy and the transients became the good guys. I lost a lot of faith for the judicial system after that. The point I’m trying make is no matter how much you think you’re doing the right thing, uninformed people will gaslight you and flip the script. I now understand why some people stay away from social media because it’s just like that court case.
BTW: They were all convicted and given probation.
I worry for my kids. They're gonna go to college in a couple of years, and this radicalized propaganda and defense of terrorism is what they will find. Disgraceful.
@DanielLurie Many Family and friends have fantastic memories from 1930’s to our present time. All things are possible. San Francisco is a wonderful City if we can get better leaders turning the ship around.
Peep this 👀@SusanDReynolds and I have discovered the #DPW incident wasn’t an anomaly. Back in November, 2021 two @sfpublicworks employees were arrested after leading authorities on a chase. Elijah Ifopo, 23 of San Francisco, and Ajay Balaoro, 23 of San Francisco were caught burglarizing vehicles in SF. Ifopo reportedly discarded a loaded firearm with an extended magazine while fleeing which was later located and secured by @SFPD. The entire case was suppressed by then District Attorney @chesaboudin.

Ok @SusanDReynolds and I have done a deep dive related to the two individuals involved in the deadly crash at Paul Ave. in SF on Saturday. We now know their names and here is where it gets bizarre. Marcellus Gayden, 26 (deceased), and Michael Humphery, 27, were according to sources, both @sfpublicworks employees. It’s believed they came on board at @sfgov from one of the Apprenticeship Programs with the city. Humphery is currently in @SheriffSF jail infirmary.

.@Cagop executive cmte approves delegate allocation change 53-16. So if a candidate gets 50% + 1 of the vote in the March 5 primary, they get all of CA’s 169 delegates. Otherwise they will be divided proportionally.
