@SelkerMark @Isaywhatwhat84@extrabaggs He still is one of the players with the best fielding range in mlb though, and his defense has not been that bad this year
Heck of a season for the Squirrels, but they ultimately fall short in the semi-finals. That makes semi-final appearances for the San Jose Giants and Flying Squirrels, and a championship for the Emeralds. The lower minors are looking good.
Jason Vosler has been an anomaly this season
.242 AVG, .311 OBP, .433 SLG, 82 wRC+ in triple a, .288 AVG, .351 OBP, .530 SLG, 143 wRC+ in the bigs

Good performance by him, especially pitching in Coors, I wasn't sure how he'd answer after his rough start vs the Dodgers but he showed up in a big way and gave the 'pen some much needed rest.
Cole Waites pitched very well in his inning this game, mixing in sliders and fastballs ranging from 93-97 mph. Waites consistently got ahead in the count and pounded the zone, consistently being able to locate his pitches. I hope this is a good sign of things to come.
Well this is... something
Neither I, nor many others were expecting Harris to depart so soon, but he heads to Detroit, starting with a good young core.
The Detroit Tigers are hiring San Francisco Giants general manager Scott Harris as their new president of baseball operations, sources tell ESPN. Harris' rise in the industry has been meteoric and he's been seen as a future front-office star. Now he'll run the show in Detroit.
Great move by the Giants, Cotton has been doing well as a reliever with Texas and Minnesota. The peripherals for this year are horrible, but his 2021 peripherals are good. There's definitely a lot of potential here, and almost no risk, but Cotton does have no options remaining.
Let's hear a round of applause for the 2022 team award winners:

Not 100% sure but believe I'm catching sight of Marco Luciano in Richmond dugout today.
Wouldn't be a surprising move considering his lost reps and Richmond's lost bodies + Eugene's early triumph. Probably not the only one up either
Heliot Ramos is headed back to the majors, according to a tweet from his agency. The most likely moves would be a option/dfa of Calhoun, Brinson, or Gonzalez. I would also expect to see Johnson again at some point, since he's now eligible to be called back up.
They're going back-to-back!
Eugene swept its way to a second straight crown with Jimmy Glowenke delivering the extra-inning heroics in the Northwest League Finals: https://t.co/p2v0B1P8B2
Congratulations to the @EugeneEmeralds, winners of the 2022 Northwest League and back-to-back league champions! (We shall not talk about the name of the league last year...)
