HS Athlete of the Week: Brady Swindell '27
Brady Swindell qualified for the State Bowling Tournament with a second-place finish at the Region Tournament last week. The tournament format made for a long day, bowling six games across 3+ hours. Averaging 188.3 - unquestionably his best day of bowling this season - Brady was able to advance.
JS Athlete of the Week: Larson McGrane '31
As part of a competitive day for Junior School Squash, Larson McGrane came from behind in the match of the day to beat his opponent from McCallie. Larson trailed 2-0 and won 3-2 in an incredible display of grit.

Update on Wanda: After an impromptu meeting in the beer cave, Wanda notified the rest of her management team that "if they ain't in the back of the minivan at 2:00 sharp, she ain't taking them with her." Denise has been promoted to store manager effective immediately.
Monday afternoon was a busy one for the Big Red as Varsity Bowling, Junior School Soccer A and Varsity Hockey all won!
The bowling team put together its best performance in a trip to Clarksville, jumping in front with a barrage of strikes and Brady Swindell's season-best 235.
Also on the road was a hard fought 1-0 win over Pope Prep on the soccer pitch as the opponent kept players back on defense in an attempt to keep MBA off the board. Ultimately, that didn't matter as Jess Judy scored and Ricky Reynolds was strong in goal.
Much closer to home at Centennial Sportsplex, the hockey team got back in the win column after a couple of losses and a tie against some of the league's top competition. Ethan Sides, Abe Lasher and Benjamin Eadie each scored two on the way to an 8-4 win over Brentwood High/Brentwood Academy/USN.

It would really help if we could at least get a good concessions experience. With a sad season, if I could only guarantee that my $11 Diet Coke would not be flat and have ice. #titanup
