They didn't want to evacuate too soon because it's a huge undertaking and want necessary at the time. The weather changed in one day and wreaked havoc. There's so much more to it than that.

It is a huge waste of money to have unnecessary additional aircraft. The fire was at a point where water bombers couldn't even put a dent into it, it was a literal wall of fire. A spectacle of nature.

That fire was a success despite what you may think because although homes were lost, many more were saved and only 1 life was lost. Stick to farming pal.

It had nothing to do with management and if you're trying to say the people working the fire weren't doing a good enough job then you can fuck off.

I work in wildfire management and I personally worked the Fort Mac fire. If you seriously think that any politician has any control over wildfires than you are a complete idiot. Hands down.
