@UTFootballEdits Thank you! If Bijan was the first Lambo deal, and it was more than 2 years ago.... then I feel like there has to have been successful payment of student athletes under the table. I'm not specifically pointing at Texas. Please keep that in mind. Many schools have done this.

@UTFootballEdits I'm not just a "fan." My youngest son had/has four P4 full ride offers to play college baseball. He has accepted one of them and I'm well versed on NIL versus rev share. Of course I believe in capitalism. Just not paid players before it was legal.

@UTFootballEdits And do you think those Lamborghini dealerships didn't talk to or coordinate these contract opportunities with the athletic department? There was undoubtedly communication between the athletic program and the dealerships to entice these players with exotic cars.

@UTFootballEdits I completely understand that these guys appreciate the small deals you've made for them. However, you can't be for certain that all of those guys were unpaid just because of your interactions. And the "lambo deals with dealerships" is still basically paying players.

I think they are different too. I would hope they're different with all the money they spend. I know the talk is that Texas Tech buys their team but our guys aren't driving Lambos around campus. Let's call a spade a spade. UT and schools of that caliber have been paying players before it was even legal

Joey McGuire says Texas Tech is offering to play Texas on Sept. 5 this season. Regarding their season openers, McGuire says Tech would buy out ACU, Texas has the money to buy out Texas State game.
