The #BeFree Movement hosted its #BeFree Ballers, a youth-centred initiative bringing together young men, mentors and service providers to engage in conversations on masculinity and sexual reproductive health amongst others.
The programme drew over a hundred young men who engaged with these topics.

LIFE BEHIND BARS … An inmate at the Windhoek Correctional Facility, Rachimo Haradoeb, has urged Namibian men to avoid crime that could lead to imprisonment, saying life behind bars is difficult.
Haradoeb, who has spent 25 years in prison, shared his experience during the #BeFree Ballers: Next Gen Men event hosted by the BeFree Movement.

STRAIGHT PATH … Educator and motivational speaker Joshua Mario, speaking at the #BeFree Ballers: Next Gen Men gathering in Windhoek, encouraged young men not to feel pressured by societal expectations around money and masculinity.
Mario said it is normal for a man to go through periods without money and urged young men not to be influenced by toxic societal beliefs that often push men into anti-social behaviour and poor decision-making.
