@stephmce@Coach_Swales@CHANNEL_TN_ There’s a certain charm to British stadiums, indeed. Doesn’t make one better or worse. I prefer British stadiums but I ultimately don’t give a toss whether Americans prefer their own set up. Seems like a waste of time getting cross over it
@mechgregor@NobletStrength I bet that sounded great when you were 13. Now comments like that are a bit embarrassing for you, you look old enough to be my dad
@noah_reem1@NobletStrength I’ve not had any US beers other than the pish like Budweiser, so can’t comment on the difference between the 2, but if you’ve got some nice amber ales that’s ace.
@stephmce@Coach_Swales@CHANNEL_TN_ It’s because everyone is sick of the US arrogance. I’ve seen ‘our beer is stronger’, ‘our country is bigger’, ‘my car is bigger’, ‘our stadiums are bigger’ as if any of that bullshit means anything. It’s as if Americans are projecting their insecurities and it’s boring
@z_charger@EconomyComments@SpangledBallers Ahh yes. You celebrate fighting to a draw (at best) against a superior force, we don’t even acknowledge it as it’s so insignificant compared to our other victories. We’re not the same
@GasparddElydore@minerva_owl1 Les recettes anglaises sont vraiment similaire que les recettes français. Arrête de faire un snob, vous semblez américain
@yourmemorypulls@SteAssent American cuisine isn’t a thing. The only American foods are ultra processed nonesense. UK food is superior in every way. I’d eat jellied eels over the sugar filled crap they call ‘coffee’ in the US
@RealVandalian@Timstillherelol So how you going to pay your insurance if you lose a job? Anyway, thanks a lot for making my point for me about why Americans are seen as insufferable. You’ve done the heavy lifting there for me. Have a wonderful day 😀
@RealVandalian@Timstillherelol So what’s your point here? You pay less tax, but you get less support if things go wrong. I pay more tax but I know low income families get support. I’m ok with that. Your attitude is too individualistic which is again, seen as obnoxious. US freedoms are only if you’re rich
@RealVandalian@Timstillherelol Again, stop projecting. You’re reinforcing the poor perception of US citizens. ‘YEAH BUT YOU ARE BLAH BLAH BLAH’. It’s boring. We appreciate debate and nuance, not this ‘USA IS THE GREATEST AT EVERYTHING’ attitude. Statistics completely disprove your comments above
@RealVandalian@Timstillherelol Simple health procedures in the US cost significantly more than elsewhere. Admitting there is a problem is the first step towards change
