Take into account that the people betting on AI’s economic future may not know exactly how profitable it will ultimately become. That part is still uncertain. But the people making those bets include the CEOs of Apple, Microsoft, Meta, Google, and Amazon, along with some of the smartest engineers, researchers, and investors in the world.

On the other side, you have average Joes and YouTube hosts who, after a pullback in AI stocks, suddenly think they’re experts and have become skeptical of the entire industry.

If I had to bet, I’d rather bet on the first group than the second. The odds seem much better.
