“The military operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa must be stopped immediately. ANP was made unpopular through similar actions in the past. Launching operations against our own people merely to please foreign powers does not improve the situation; it only makes it worse. In these operations, on one side our security forces are killed, and on the other, our citizens lose their lives. Killing one’s own always leads to an increase in terrorism. Drone strikes taking place in Afghanistan and Pakistan must also be halted immediately.

I instruct all members of provincial and national assemblies and the senate who are from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to come together and resist these operations and drone strikes against our own people, and to work for peace so that issues can be resolved through dialogue. At a time when people are already suffering from floods and unbearable inflation, they are now being subjected to military operations as well. This is extremely painful. History bears witness that apart from negotiations, there has never been any lasting solution to peace.

Afghanistan is our brotherly Muslim country. Afghan refugees have been living here for three generations. When the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) migrated to Madinah, the people opened their doors for him, and for this reason the Ansar (helpers) of Madinah are honored to this day. Yet we have made life unbearable for our Muslim brothers. Forcibly expelling refugees is deeply regrettable. Asim Munir is doing all this merely to appease the anti-Taliban lobby, deliberately imposing war in a place where no war exists. These measures must stop immediately, otherwise the situation will deteriorate further.”

Another day, democracy seems to be faltering in Pakistan's elections. If candidates are predetermined, the election process feels redundant. Why not simply announce the results instead of investing money,time & resources into a seemingly predetermined outcome?
