This week I applied to be @UKLabour’s next candidate for #Dagenham & #Rainham.
As a working class woman born and raised in a Dagenham council house, the values of our constituency are in my blood.
I will put members and the community at the heart of my campaign.
Thanks Cllr Matt Stanton of @BeamParkLabour for taking the time yesterday to highlight some of the transport challenges of Havering to me!
Looking forward to helping improve public transport and road safety in a rapidly growing area.
Whilst mum lay dying in a hospital bed and being denied access to see her because of the laws introduced by Boris Johnson, the hypocrisy of the PM and Sunak are unforgivable. Any MP that shows support for those that broke the law are as a guilty as Johnson & Sunak @HaveringDaily
Hey Twitter friends, I seem to only see tweets from a few of you. I’m definitely following you and have notifications on. Please let me know if you can see this tweet.
Solidarity with @CWUnews Repayment Project Engineers in Openreach who are on their second day of strike action. BT Group must address staff concerns about changes to T&Cs and the grading of their role.

Yesterday local parents contacted me outraged at the £5 #foodparcels sent out by the Tory govt in place of a £30 voucher. Below is just one of the messages I received.
I have written to the Children's Minister.
This is utterly shameful.

🌹 NEW: The Labour HOPE not hate Parliamentary Group launches today!
Over 30 MPs from across the Labour Party have joined the group to support the fight against the far-right and champion the work of @hopenothate in Parliament.
Today I was at Arnold’s Field in #Rainham w/ @mckeever_trevor to talk about the recurring landfill fires damaging #airquality across the area. Next week I will be urging both Havering Council and the site managers to find a long term solution.
Today is International Day of People with Disabilities. This is a global, UN-backed day to celebrate all people with disabilities. The 2020 theme is ‘Not all Disabilities are Visible’ to spread awareness and understanding that disabilities might be 'hidden' from sight.
I've thrown my support behind the Local Electricity Bill, which if made law will unleash the potential of community-owned clean energy - strengthening local economies and tackling the #ClimateCrisis. https://t.co/CH9Yc5Oklu
After the farce last week that saw #Havering Tories sweep gerrymandering allegations against their Leader under the carpet, I have today written to @LGOmbudsman asking for a truly independent and transparent investigation of events.
