@DarrenArsenal1 Agreed, but I think it might be time for a new one, either with that “connection, make it happen…” line from THAT song, or…
“after review…” 😆
@ArsenalBallots Best to go to the eastern side of the route, away from the tube stations. Anywhere from Clissold Park down to Essex Road.
Petherton Road still pretty chill.
🚨 Hi everyone. To celebrate Arsenal’s title win I'll be giving away THREE 'Champions' prints by the brilliant @matthewjiwood to three random winners
- Simply repost this to enter
Winners picked on Saturday.
(If you're not feeling lucky the prints - and loads of others - can be found here: https://t.co/718xYZwECf)
@AST_arsenal I understand the rationale for not having a static trophy lift etc, but will there be some way that supporters can hear the players speak or lead songs? I’m thinking iconic moments like Jack Wilshere asking what we think of…
@ArsenalBallots I think people are leaving the seats near the clock end free because they think there will just be one big screen at that end and the angle will be unviewable. Do you think it will be 3 screens, one facing each of North, East and West?
@fanzonebasket@TRaptorball NHD was only EL FINAL 4 MVP. NHD is a v good EL player but he’s not athletic or big enough for his NBA role. His 3pt shooting was a big reason why he was signed, but the NBA line is further back and his % tanked. No NBA team is going to be patient with a 31 year old.
@FlexFromJersey Flex, I hear you on the need for size, but Bryant’s reach and athleticism more than make up for the height. Plus he can shoot. CMB and Newell are both small for their position and they can’t shoot. Beringer is a good call but he’ll be gone before Newell and well before 29.
@GarethDennis Ah, I see. Thanks. I’ve only ever seen them on the pigeon-side (technical term), or a wide yellow line covering the entire width of the tactiles. I’m just happy the pigeon is on the correct side and not in danger of being yelled at by a security contractor.
@edgarwright@ChrisHewitt A great night. Nick’s impression of you a definite highlight 😉 After living in Letchworth, Crouch End and the West Country at different times in my life, I feel a connection to the trilogy. Seems like yesterday I was watching ‘Shaun…’ on opening weekend in Bristol. Good times.
Hi @TorstenBell, I was at your book event but ran out of time to ask... In the book you propose fiscal rules that would aid growth. You also called the current fiscal rules stupid on The Rest is Money. But Rachel Reeves has kept them. Should we expect fiscal rule changes soon?
Listened to a great episode of @therestismoney with @MazzucatoM, and I’m not just saying that as an Arsenal-supporting UCL grad. Strategy, consultants, public and private investment... I’d be intrigued to hear Professor Mazzucato’s recommendations for fixing Britain’s railway.
