The electoral system should have been sorted decades earlier so let's not marvel at how quickly the legalisation was passed given it's implementation was not. Fresh elections should been held

Regarding the impact of "business vote", I will defer to the comments made by Eugene O'Hare in the original clip who was very well qualified to assess this.

@michaelhills8 @MidiaPetronilla The legislation received royal assent in November that year. The first elections held under the revised system of “one person, one vote” took place in 1973. So effectively there was 4 more years of disenfranchisement for a lot of adults.
