"None of your business": Israel's ambassador in London decisively rejects the British Foreign Ministry

The leadership of the British Foreign Ministry ordered the Israeli ambassador, Tzipi Hotovely, for "talks".

The Foreign Office told the Israeli representative that they are extremely dissatisfied with the decision of the Israeli government to build 3400 residential units in zone E1 - between Jerusalem and Ma’ale Adumim.

The British are of the opinion that such a development "significantly undermines the two-state solution" and "clearly violates international law".

Tzipi Hotovely, however, behaved little diplomatic and advised the British not to interfere in matters that were of no concern to them, and asked not to bother them with questions that have nothing to do with Israel-British relations.

"We also don't tell you where you can and where you can't build in London. So don't tell us how to build our capital. "It is an internal matter of Israel, how we expand Jerusalem," Hotovely said.
