27:

Jayden Quantanence
Dailyn Swain
Ebuka Okorie
Morez Johnson
Luigi Suigo
Joshua Jefferson
Henri Veesaar
Trevon Brazile
Bennett Stirtz
Tarris Reed
Baba Miller
Funny that the Bucks pretty much decided to punt on the next 4 years
Respectfully Jaime, Ware, and Kasparas aren’t gonna get it done and how often do the 10th and 13th picks become stars rather than solid role players
The future 1st round draft picks for the Milwaukee Bucks:
2026: 2 - 10 and 13 (From Miami)
2027: None
2028: 1 - will get the worst draft pick between Portland, Washington and their own
2029: None
2030: 1 - Portland has swap rights to Milwaukee’s pick and Milwaukee has swap rights to Miami’s pick
2031: 2 -Their own and Miami’s
2032: 1 - Their Own
2033: 2 - Their Own and Miami’s
So yes, Bucks did get a nice haul of 1st round picks, but they are still in draft pick hell from 2027-2029 so they better make it count tomorrow.
If Celtics really need to trade Brown which at this point I hope and don’t think they will. If they did though I’d want a return similar to the Spurs rumors last year:
High lottery pick + very solid players
Rumors last year were:
#2 + Vassell + Johnson + capital
#2 + Castle
This roster healthy is very good, people need to remember that and they still got money and assets right now
A lot of the pieces last year were not complimentary and if they fill those holes and needs, which Stevens always does, they will be right back competing for the east
If I was management for the Bucks, I don’t know how you couldn’t have been happy taking JB + 2 firsts + more. They wanted a star to stay relevant. If he leads you to the playoffs that’s a win, if not, you can package him for more assets to a team like Portland
Sources say Bucks owner Jimmy Haslam was a driving force in taking the Heat deal for Giannis over Boston’s offer. Haslam didn’t want to risk Jaylen Brown wanting out of Milwaukee in a year after dealing with Giannis and Myles Garrett trade demands. Haslam wanted certainty, and the Miami deal provided more of that with more total assets in return to Milwaukee.
