@SwannMarcus89 If you think Ben Johnson, who was extremely cautious about selecting a head coaching job, would have signed up to a gig where the GM went over his head to hire his DC on a guy he didn’t want, you’re a special kind of stupid.
@WeWatchedAMovie@alltwentyQ2 A starting QB is worth more than just about any other combination of guys. And on top are missing their starting LT and 2 best players in the secondary
@KMNDR_@Liv_Boeree The term “cigarette” became piping hot rat poison with everyone outside of Big Tobacco with the whole “cigarettes cause cancer” thing. This seems like a simple reframe and pivot. Now the industry and reset and continue forward with “fun tubes”. What’s the big deal?
@Johnathan_Wood1 I genuinely don’t get why Bagent isn’t starting. He was extended for a reason and hyped up all throughout camp. I trust Ben 100% and appreciate that he wasn’t part of the install this week but still….you would think he has more to offer than Keenum
@CalebIsHim@Coswell515024 I mean it’s a fact that he is NOT notorious for this….he’s had 2 starting QBs his entire career as a play caller, and I don’t think anyone would say “man, no other coach could get production out of Super Bowl QB Jared Goff or generational talent Caleb”
@cookedbyjeff@CalebIsHim I don’t know why everyone thinks he’s the best QB2. He’s only seen limited regular season action, and put lightly, he was not very good. He seems to have good command of the offense but his physical tools are real limiting factors on NFL Sundays.
@ForzaSebastian_@ilannfl18 Yes, no one was really open. There were maybe a couple of times he could have hung in and thrown something on schedule but generally speaking he didn’t leave much meat on the bone.
Thought it was Ben’s worst offensive game by far.
@theqbschool Yikes…BJ got absolutely schooled. Obviously penalties/execution were clear issues, but was this the most confusing schematic game from Ben that you’ve seen (spamming flood concepts, no sight adjusts/pressure plan)?
@wludford This is a good example of why beat reporters are unqualified to watch film and opine. The “late” throw to Odunze - Odunze wasn’t even in the progression, he was running a clear out route. It was good QB play that he managed to get back to him to see him at all
@cbocker32@startkyIeorton They need to release play by play grades to be able to audit their methodology. That throw should definitely be a 1.5, and you could argue the throw to Raymond also should be.
There l were not 5 -0.5s. Caleb missed on the Loveland throw, the Kmet throw, & I think that was it?
@PFF Release your play by play grade so we can audit it.
As others have said, grading a free play for a QB negatively is absolutely asinine.
I cancelled my subscription last night. I’m sure others are doing the same.
@amock419 Yes yes we get it. You built a metric that creates a quasi outlier that you are leveraging for engagement.
How about releasing the formula for validation? How can we replicate your results otherwise? Check your work to ensure there aren’t any errors?
@MassiveLayoffs@captaincaleb18 That’s the secondary market price, probably 2x or more what he got for it at retail because they’re impossible to get otherwise.
Plus, this will hold its value unlike a car.
@randywedo57@Cynics_throne@DarrylConrad Other than credible journalists saying this, a massive pay disparity, and it being blatantly visible based on personnel moves, how can we be sure?!
