If any of you guys are curious about where I've been or want to follow my journey on my new channel follow me here.
I'm gonna tweet over here now. I figured I'd seperate everything since I won't be yapping about siege anymore and I know most of you followed me for that.
I'm gonna start posting semi-consistently here about my creative process and about the games I'm playing and have played.
It's gonna be completely unrelated to siege since I've moved on now. I may tweet about it occasionally but it won't be the primary subject.
Figured I'd quote tweet this since this will be relevant to a lot of you in my siege audience. Gonna be posting a siege video on my new main channel tomorrow
The video im posting tomorrow is going to be my one and only siege video on the channel. It will likely be a little controversial due to its nature.
But a lot of people have been asking me why I quit, so I'm condensing it all into one long video.
@Garfieldisdoc Yeah I agree with this. I also feel like the old lighting had the effect of forcing slower gameplay (droning). Because, if you spawnpeeked you couldn't see well, and if you didn't drone someone could be hiding in a dark corner. Now that incentive structure doesn't exist
I think there is a reason a lot of people got hyped about Siege X being a supposed "return to form", and its why it did numbers for a bit. A lot of people miss the games old gritty feel.
I think Siege X should have leaned more into this, but instead everything looks so flat
@HaanSoloD1 I'm not gonna lie saying "Ready or Not is there btw" avoids the entire point. Also ready or not is not even remotely the same game so I don't know how thats relevant. There's no destruction or PVP elements.
There is a reason the supposed "return to form" in siege X got hyped up

@ShawkR6 I personally always felt like I had been blacklisted. And then the Siege X early access period was what really set me off. They invited a ton of content creators that never made siege content and a ton of their friends. A ton of medium size creators got fucked. Including me.
A lot of people have asked me why I quit siege and won't return. It was in large part because of this, the constant broken promises and the terrible state of the game.
@Alka_FPS Which that then puts you at a disadvantage when new season's drop because everyone already has gameplay and has prerecorded tons of videos in advance.
It's lowkey why I just stopped trying to cover new content altogether and focused on education/video essays
@ShawkR6 Yeah I addressed this in another comment. The double standards and Ubisoft's inconsistent application of their rules for who could get into the events was a major painpoint.

@LilGuch2@Alka_FPS Yeah I understand why its in place. Ubisoft wants the most eyes possible on a new season without risk of leaks. However their standards are never applied equally so it always felt like you had to have a connection or relationship with someone in Ubi to get in.

@Alka_FPS Yeah I started to feel this way towards the end of my time with siege. It was especially a problem with early access events.
All the big creators are given access along with people with close ties with Ubisoft. If you are a medium or small sized channel you are shit out of luck
