I had a chance to playtest this game today, it's honestly insanely fun. I think I'll make a video on this game after I'm involved in a few more playtests. It has a lot of potential.
@TacoTruckowitz Pretty much. Only difference is they have a track record of making good games so people are okay with tolerating their ridiculously greedy tactics
Defending 30 FPS in 2026 is wild. Rockstar is doing every anti-consumer thing possible.
$100 price tag for the full game, paywalled trailer, no physical release, 30FPS, and not releasing on PC for the sole purpose double dipping. But because its rockstar people will eat it up
Yall gotta realize that Rockstar Games’ 30fps is different from other game’s 30fps.
I’m still playing RDR2 on ps5 (I have the pc version) and it’s the most smoothest 30 I’ve ever played.
GTA 6 will be amazing on the PS5, X/S, and even better on the PS5 Pro.
I've been willing to die on this hill for years, Halo 5's multiplayer was unironically amazing. It's the halo game I put the most hours into by far.
The hate this game got I feel came entirely down to people being adverse to change and the games subpar launch.
I'm going down with the Halo 5 Ship 🫡
I believe the Movement & Gunplay in Halo 5 are exceptional because they worked together as one cohesive combat system. Every weapon felt lethal in its own way when used within its intended range.
Whether it was a Magnum or Battle Rifle at mid to far ranges, an Assault Rifle up close or a Sniper Rifle across the map, Spartan Abilities such as Thrust, Clamber, Slide, and Ground Pound gave players the freedom to reposition quickly, close gaps, create distance, or attack from unexpected angles.
The result was a fast, skill-driven sandbox in which success depended not only on accuracy, but also on using movement intelligently to place yourself at the ideal range for maximum lethality.
@Durandal7777@LuisMar94674404 Was COD advanced warfare still a Call of Duty game? Because by your guy's logic anything that isn't Black ops or Modern Warfare wouldn't fall under the "formula" of Call of Duty.
@HaloNoSprint I mean you are entitled to your opinion and idrc. But Halo 4, 5, and Reach all sold over 10 million copies. Which from what I can find is better than everything else but Halo 3. So saying that the new changes tanked it is stretching it. Plus infinite was their best launch ever
@ShawkR6 Yeah console diehards are a special breed. They have an attachment to their brand of console to the point where they'd rather fight over whether Playstation or Xbox is better rather than band together to actually get a better experience across the board.
@spartanonyx@HaloNoSprint Halo infinite is just as different from 3 as Reach was. And Halo 5 isn't that far off either. I didn't mention 4 because I feel like its the only game where the "it doesn't feel like halo" argument is valid. Because that game was just straight up a COD clone.
@HaloNoSprint I think pretending Halo Reach, Halo 5, or Infinite were some MASSIVE reinventing of the Halo formula is disingenuous. These games still feel like Halo games.
Would you rather Halo turn into COD where we are releasing the same game every year with no significant differences?
@HaloNoSprint Without major changes in the games formula the series wouldn't have been able to survive. Even bungie knew this which is why they made Reach.
Halo infinite was proof that a new evolution of the game can work. They just got lazy and fucked up post launch support.
@HaloNoSprint And yeah, I agree the campaign of Halo 5 is ass but it isn't really the main point of my tweet. The campaign definitely did NOT feel like a Halo campaign and was a horrible stain on the series' overall story.
@HaloNoSprint I'll never understand this argument of it just "not feeling like Halo". The game still has a slow TTK, a vast and similar sandbox to previous games, and the formula of both sides fighting for power weapons.
Halo 4 felt WAY less like a Halo than Halo 5 did from a mp perspective.
@LuisMar94674404 Yeah the adverse to change part is targeted at the subset of the Halo playerbase who hated on Halo 5 and who think that Halo shouldn't evolve at all. They'd rather every game stay the same as Halo 2 gameplay wise till the end of time
I just got hands on with this feature on my Xbox and this is genuinely a game changer. I put my disc copy of Expedition 33 in and within seconds it was in my digital library on Xbox and PC.
I'm probably going to start buying more games physically on Xbox now as a result
Watch me turn this physical Xbox copy of Grand Theft Auto V into a digital version in seconds.
I can play it without the disc and it’s now locked into my digital library. 🤯
My only complaint with this disc to digital system is the amount of games on offer. Currently only half of the games in my Xbox One and Series X library are compatible.
I think if Xbox puts pressure on publishers to include themselves in this program it could be massive.
