Well.. after years of fighting with Bots scraping the site and slowing the site down, I have decided to pay for CloudFlare for the site.. should help performance for all going forward, and even more for V3 launching in the next couple of weeks!

Working on BeatStats V3, today I fixed the number 1, number 2 and number 3 reason people message me :) auto refresh for track changes or artist changes, auto refresh for any tracks in BP charts, and auto update for label images

I’m in the process of rewriting BeatStats, I wrote the code 7 years ago and it’s too slow and difficult to maintain.. today I rewrote the Chart generation script and reduced the speed it takes to generate all charts from 70 mins to 6 minutes! Launching v3 hopefully next month :)

What a year it’s been this year..after such a horrible 2 years I’ve managed to claw my way back up the @BeatStats ladder to the #1 spot in the trance artist section (over a 3 month period)!

Made a few more updates to the site, New Genre Selector menu, and now all samples play on the site, instead of linking to Beatport.. more improvements / changes coming!

@GarethJonesFTO Does label radar work? Or does most stuff get signed via private email? My stuff always gets rejected over Label Radar :) but can you really judge a track on a 20 second sample?
