Rubin Swift, from Cleveland, Ohio, was denied boarding on Frontier Airlines in Phoenix, Arizona, with his 4-day-old daughter Ru-Andria because she was too young per their policy.

His wife had sadly passed away after giving birth. A kind elderly volunteer named Joy Ringhofer, whom he met at the hospital in Phoenix, took them into her home.
