I admire women who let people be wrong about them. No correcting, no arguing, no proving anything, just peace, silence, and growth. That’s how you really win.
In the coming year, try reading your Bible slowly. Don’t worry about finishing it all in twelve months. Instead, hunt for treasure within the text, sit with the verses. Meditate. Communion not completion, depth over distance. As you open the bible let it open up to you too.
This year has taught me that a good year can also be a hard year. I have held joy and pain in equal measure. The joy hasn't made it less painful & the pain hasn't made it less joyful. It’s the year I learnt what it means to hold all things in a delicate balance.
A lesson I learned this year is that a person's capacity for growth is directly linked to how much truth they can face about themselves without running away.
Whatever you do, pray for the ability to see your own sins, your own hypocrisy, and your own shortcomings. Never lose sight of that— never get so carried away pointing fingers that you forget you, too, have abscesses that need tending.
We all make mistakes and sometimes handle situations very immaturely because we may be blind at the time. If you ever get the opportunity to take accountability or apologize, please do.
If you walk with God, you will surely reach your destination. There may be stops and detours, but trust that if you put God first, He will be navigating the way.
Please don’t limit yourself to one profession. You can work a 9-5, own a business, content create, do hair, flip houses, all at once. Anything is possible! Don’t stop till you find your passion and bubble up.
Australia passed a law yesterday that no child under 16 can have a social media account. The day it passed, it deleted every single child account across multiple social media apps.
Well done, Australia! 👏🏾
