MAGA is feeding off of it, but Black Fatigue exists. A lot of Black people gave it one more grand push in 2024. A lot of Black people are tired of pushing the boulder up the mountain only for so called allies to push the boulder down the mountain; making Black people do more work. The Democrats didn’t prioritize Black people who have spent their entire political existence fighting other people’s battles because Black people always saw humanity as one. The Republican Party abandoned Black people and so have the Democrats in many Black Americans eyes. Black people do not feel their work and sacrifices have been appreciated or valued as valor, integrity, hardwork, love and compassion but as a loyal dog that can be abused and discarded. So the MAGA people may take advantage of those feelings from Black people but it isn’t a MAGA created; this feeling was created by backstabbing allies and minority groups that voted for MAGA thinking they would reach the promise land for their people if they sacrifice Black people. Well, people made the wrong decision. This isn’t revenge for many Black people, simply many have nothing more to give to those who just shitted on The Civil Rights Bill and every foundational freedom Black people pushed for so all of us could be free. Sometimes you don’t know what you have until it is gone.
