In the run-up to #IndependenceDay, @GuwahatiPol carried out night-time area domination and foot patrolling along the Agshia–Majirgaon–Garal–Dharapur river embankment and in the funnel areas around LGBI Airport.

Crime Rate per lakh population is down to 100.2 from 121.5 in 2025 n 349.5 in 2021

Case Pendency is down to 10,902 from 11,140 in 2025 n 133,982 in 2021

Monthly average registration of cases is down to 3,065 from 3682.9 in 2025 n 11103.3 in 2021

Charge Sheet Rate improved to 86.04% from 81.46 in 2025 n 39.40 in 2021

These figures reflect focused policing, supervision, technology-driven investigation & our tireless commitment towards ensuring a safer Assam for it’s citizens.
