I just think parenthood is the ultimate team sport, and even if the romantic union didn’t work, it’s the dominant example most children get for relating to people. Modeling kindness, reverence/respect and cooperation should be priority.
I think you’re a bad father if you treat your kid’s mom like shit. I know people feel like the two can be separated, but that’s a lot of points lost on my scale.
