@Stagecoach_Ox_ Cleanliness is important for a number of reasons. One being that as a wheelchair user having to sit backwards, I can’t see out the window and therefore have no idea when my stop will be!
Welcome to everyone joining our virtual conference! Today we’ll be exploring the current landscape around community engagement and how it feels to be a voice trying to be heard. Follow #KFListening to join the conversation and see the full programme here: https://t.co/aBwIBQZcil
ed/md 2024 left me speechless.
A day of raw honesty, pure inspiration and boundless hope.
A HUGE thank you to all speakers, sponsors, committee and guests. I'm so proud to be involved with @ClubMajority's work centering underrepresented voices.

I’m so grateful to @drchuks_ for enabling me to deliver my talk online as I was sadly not well enough to attend in person. It is such an important and inspiring event which I am so pleased to have been part of
I love that tomorrow is #edmd2024—the world's first eating disorders conference for medical students—and today is the first day of the 2024 #ChoosePsychiatry campaign by @RCPsych. The aim of ed/md is to inspire. Hopefully it'll help bring more students into psychiatry too! ✊🏾
"There should be no way somebody in hospital for whatever reason – mental health or physical – should be expected to attend a work-related appointment. They’re in hospital. They can’t possibly do that.”

Great start - we will always welcome efforts to make public transport more accessible, from an inclusion and environmental angle.
Next, let's make housing, education, the healthcare system, social security system and our wider society accessible too @Keir_Starmer
@chilternrailway Please can you sort out your disabled access on your trains? The tables do not lift up in the designated wheelchair space so cannot get my wheelchair in the right position and therefore I am sticking out into the aisle and people are struggling to get past.
Most kids in care in England cannot access direct psychotherapy (let alone tf-CBT) due to service set-up. This is a solvable problem!
- Joined-up working btw social care & CAMHS
- Priority access to CAMHS
- Prioritise high quality assessment
Already good examples out there
