My daughter applauding @jessphillips this morning. I like to think she’s excited for a bright new era of British politics she’s about to grow up in. It’s possible she might just like her pink blazer. #generalection2024
The wait for an EMERGENCY referral to therapy in Wandsworth is c. 8 weeks. And don’t get me started on dismissing mental health issues as “ordinary difficulties of life” and the damage that rhetoric does to years of work to end stigma.

@RebeccaCNReid Ridiculous. I was asked to sit at the back on a stool. I’ve developed many skills since having her, breastfeeding on a stool is not one of them.
@RebeccaCNReid This is exactly what I thought. I have never experienced loneliness like I have since becoming a mother. Being made to feel unwelcome is a horrible feeling for anyone, let alone when you’re at your most vulnerable, sleep deprived and desperate for interaction.
@louisevparker Pleasure! I’ve found it really amazing for things like baby carriers where they can be expensive items brand new, but you might find it helpful to have a couple of options depending on the situation (or baby’s preference that day!)
@louisevparker Also congrats! And also Lidl nappies are great (way better value than Pampers), if you decide to express, hiring a hospital grade pump is worth it, and finally Vinted is your friend! As are John Lewis Anyday baby grows.
@louisevparker 1. Wet Wipes - tonnes of Wet Wipes. You can use from birth.
2. Swaddle sleeping bag. We’ve tried various different sleeping options but my 8 week old still seems to really like being swaddled.
3. Baby bouncer. Has been an absolute life saver when nothing else will settle her
@virginmedia given we’ve had a loss of service on and off throughout today (currently not working) because of Virgin works in the area, how should we expect compensation?
@LookfantasticCS tried sending a message through my account but no one is responding. The package I ordered was dumped outside the door by a courier and was stolen
@virginmedia It shouldn’t be this hard to a) have reliable broadband and b) be compensated when it’s not working 100% (ie not when it’s *not* working 100%)
@virginmedia At this precise second it’s just the white light. Which suggests it’s working. But it’s not. And now and then it’ll flip back to the green lights.
