Time for me to fly..... Maybe????
Been sitting here with this view for well over an hour. First... A light was out in the cockpit. Waited for maintenance to fix and was done. Then, a catering truck broke down right behind the plane. It's been moved. Now... Waiting for a fuel truck cause they burned too much sitting here.
Sigh. So much my 3 am alarm to get an early start and making it on time for my lunch meeting 🤣
Ahhhh...The glamorous life of travel! 🤣
What are you doing today?
Time for me to fly! This time I'm returning to one of my favorite cities in the West! It's just 2 hour flight... even better!
And I get this spectacular view of Mount Rainier.... sans it's normal amount of snow that I'm used to seeing.
But wait... there are more views on tap for the next couple of days!
Gooooooood moooooorning from the Disney Wish! I particularly like the view of the bridge where the officer is enjoying the view too.

Gooooooood mooooorrring Disneys Boardwalk Resort!
BTW... Food just tastes better when it's shaped like Mickey. I don't make the rules... It's Disney science.🤣
What's your favorite Mickey-shaped food at Disney? And yes, "all of them" is an acceptable answer. ❤️

And now... Something completely different.
Just enough time to sleep, attempt to acclimate to Pacific time, do laundry, repack and board the Star Princess on one of its final sailings to Alaska this season.
This one is special as I am sailing with several members of the MEI-Travel team on an educational trip to learn more about cruising Princess Cruises
Can't wait to hug these guys and spend time with cooking up new strategies to better serve our clients!

I’ve been fortunate to visit Normandy several times, and it never becomes just another place I’ve been.
Every visit leaves me with gratitude for those who sacrificed so much—and a reminder that the lessons of history still matter, if we’re willing to listen and learn from them. ❤️

1/4 - Standing at the Normandy American Cemetery and walking the beaches where so many came ashore more than 80 years ago, it’s impossible not to feel the weight of what happened here.
So many were just 18, 19, 20, 21. Think about yourself—or your kids—at that age.

That’s the part of history I think we’re supposed to remember, too.
We shouldn’t become so committed to defending our “side” that we excuse things we’d recognize as wrong if they came from someone else.
This isn’t about telling anyone what to believe. It’s about thinking.

These weren’t numbers in a history book. They were people with families, dreams and entire lives ahead of them.
And history reminds us that what led to WWII didn’t happen overnight. Division grew. People became “us” and “them.” Fear was used. Truth was manipulated.
So.. the approach to SNA, the closest airport to Disneyland, is my favorite because of this view.
It's amazing there is so much magic stuffed into one small square from just a few thousand feet!
