@trigeki@reeferpogo@PokemonGoApp They are stingy with the remote raid passes. I don't live near an accessible gym, and I am disabled and rarely leave the house. So to do raids, I gotta buy remote raid passes.
@GavinNewsom The rapist is too dumb to know that it is estimated that over 40 million Americans, including me, have dyslexia. Does he really think it is a good idea to call it a mental illness? Not surprising behavior for a narcastic sociopath though.
@jxcbzs@emkenobi There was a six year old that was pregnant. Six is an unusually young age to be fertile, but it can happen. 11 is no surprise anymore. Girls are starting their cycles a lot earlier than they did decades ago.
@GuntherEagleman@elonmusk No one is against getting violent criminals out of the country. Previous administrations did that without all the drama this administration is causing. The fact that they did something right doesn't excuse using a 5 year old as a pawn or murdering USA citizens.
@sixersEagles215@bingbing402@archeohistories If you read it at surface level, it does seem that way. That is what I thought for a long time. If you go back to the original language and retranslate, it makes sense. For example, rib is from H6760,ṣālaʿ, to curve. Like DNA curves. But we didn't know about DNA then.
@IanAdAstra@archeohistories It could also be they came in different shades of skin color, like modern day humans. I don't know if the genes that determine skin color are similar in Neanderthal DNA, but that would be interesting to look into. Getting skin color right is like getting eye color right to me.
@bingbing402@maryssa537@archeohistories You have to go back to the original languages. There are so many mistranslated words in the bible. For example, spare the rod spoil the child is a shepherd's hook, not a beating stick. Guide, watch over, teach not beat.
@bingbing402@archeohistories Research katabole overthrow. Katabole ( καταβολή) is often mistranslated as "foundation" But means casting down. GEN 1:28, can you replenish something that wasn't already there? If the science doesn't match scripture, it is misinterpreted or mistranslated. They do match.

The problem is not people being uneducated.
The problem is that people are educated just enough to believe what they have been taught, and not educated enough to question anything from what they have been taught.
