At what point do the coaches get to vote on the rules they want?
I cant imagine any of the Coaches from around the area voting for something like this and the vote was 12-2.
Disappointed to hear about the @IDHSAA Board's vote cutting allowed games to 19
- Would've loved Board to be more proactive in feedback from stakeholders
- IDHSAA had already encouraged 18-game schedules
- Timing of change happening between 2-year cycle will impact scheduling
Utah State picks up some big awards in its last year in the MWC:
Coach of the Year: Jerrod Calhoun
Player of the Year: Mason Falslev
6th Man of Year: Karson Templin
Sources tell me Jerrod Calhoun and his representatives have told Kansas State that they are not interested in interviewing for their Men’s basketball head coach position. Kansas State will swiftly move on to new front runner Steve Lutz
Prep boys hoops: I was on hand to watch Preston blow out Pocatello in the 5A Fifth District Tournament title game. The Indians are undefeated this season when they have their full starting lineup. Also coverage of West Side's loss to Wendell in this story. https://t.co/1opcZqI0LV
Penny Hardaway on playing at Utah State: "It was very necessary to go to Utah State. If you have not gone to a Utah State home game, then you need to go. I can’t even describe what we had to endure and then play in front of. The loudest gym I’ve probably been in. A great basketball atmosphere."

Choose to be happy. Happiness, the Stoics tell us, comes from within. It's a choice. As Seneca put it: "Everything hangs on one's thinking...A man is as unhappy as he has convinced himself he is."
I golf a lot. One of the lessons that I relate golf to life: it’s all about who you’re doing it with. Bad playing partners can bring you down and make you play even worse – whereas even if you suck at golf, if you’re with the right people, it makes all the difference #golflife
Underrated life advice: You can reinvent yourself as many times as you need. New habits. New standards. New people. New career. You’re never stuck. You’re allowed to change. Today, tomorrow, and as many times as it takes to create the life you want.
